The short version: our calculator runs entirely in your browser, we do not ask you to register, and we do not sell personal information.
Calculator inputs. Everything you type into the cost calculator — footprint, pitch, material, ZIP code — is processed in your own browser. It is not transmitted to us and is not stored on any server. Closing the tab discards it.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. This collects standard technical information such as approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring site. It is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising measurement. We advertise this site on search engines. Advertising platforms may set cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit.
Information you give a partner. If you choose to request contractor quotes, you leave our site and submit your details directly to our partner. We never see or store that information. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it, and we encourage you to read it before submitting.
We do not sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles about individual readers, and we do not email you — we do not collect email addresses.
We use analytics and advertising measurement cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator will continue to work normally without them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of its sale — which, in our case, does not occur. Because we deliberately collect so little, most requests can be satisfied by clearing cookies in your browser. To make a formal request, email hello@roofpricebook.com.
This site is intended for adult homeowners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Our pages link to partner sites we do not control. Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies and the destination site's policy governs.
